Here is the latest review:

“Zeeka Chronicles” is a futuristic story, taking place twenty years from now. After an outbreak of Zika virus on a small island in the US, strange events start taking place, and doctor Raynor and his colleagues, who still remembered the events of twenty years ago, have to deal with the consequences. A strange creature appears in the hospital, claiming to be one of the dead babies, buried by the state many years ago, dug out by the mad scientist and turned into zombies with a sinister goal…
The book consists of two parts, and the second book unveils dark secrets, which concern Raynor’s family and his brother’s disappearance. “Zeeka Chronicles” is a highly compelling mixture of sci-fi, supernatural, and dystopian genres, which make it an even more interesting read. And the story of the zombie number nine in the end made just a perfect finale that put a big smile on my face."

THe Long Lost Future by Author Ian Cattell

The Long Lost Future
Randall didn't know he had a destiny until it interrupted his lunch one day; and it was bigger than he could possibly have imagined (his destiny, not his lunch).
That's when he met the mysterious Marcus Han - brainier than a clumsy butcher's floor, and secretly the richest man in the world, he would be Randall's companion and mentor through the challenges they must face in their struggle to stop the entire Galaxy from vanishing.
With a supporting cast of talking trees, mutant psychics, bungling cops, extremely refined resistance operatives, military trained birds, enlightened mushrooms, hallucinating AI units, cutlery collecting crabs, and his definitely EX-girlfriend to help him, he must travel back in time to the twenty-first century and begin again in a new, less tyrannical timeline.
If his departed dad, the World Police, the Planimals, or the ancient aliens don’t stop him first that is…

About the Author
Ian Cattell is a software developer who wanted a change from staring blankly at a computer screen all day. So he decided to write a book. Yeah, I know... Over the next six, months he learned that there are many advantages to writing a book compared to writing software, the main one being that he doesn't have to re-write it whenever Microsoft decides it's "time". He enjoys astronomy, baking organic bread, and trying to figure out why some people insist on using Macs - but when his neighbour is out he likes to play his drums. He's got a Roland TD-11KV with the extra CY-12 Crash cymbal and double kick pedals, he runs it through a 150W Mosfet PA amp via a BOSS... Oh... your eyes have glazed over... never mind.
The Long Lost Future is available on Amazon.

A great and inspirational book!

Brenda Mohammed is an award-winning author who writes in many genres. While many people travel, few of us are capable of sharing our experience in a meaningful and relevant way with strangers. This author does a superb job.

Her book is very personal and one can feel as if a friend were relating her travel impressions and giving us her tips. Paradoxically, this personal and openly subjective touch makes the tips about restaurants and other commercial places for tourists sound less biased than a professional guide book where it is often difficult to distinguish an honest review from a paid ad. In this book, we can read real first hand accounts that are very precious to any explorers and travelers.

This book can inspire us when we plan our next vacation, it can also make us reflect on our own experience and realize what we might have missed when we visited a particular place, but it can also take us to places we do not have time or money to visit any time soon. It’s also interesting to read a short entry about places that we consider our home since we cannot always see what makes them special unless we step away and look at them from a distance through a tourist’s eyes.

I found it exciting to read about places I visited and lived since the author has a keen eye and often notices thinks I don’t. But her chapter on Trinidad and Tobago, a place I have not been to, was probably the most interesting one to me. The author was born there and seems to know it very well. The ghost stories about the village of Lopinot make me want to visit and explore the place.

3. The Dirtiest of all evils - A thrilling murder mystery that demonstrates brotherly love.
4. Age Difference - A Love Story. True love knows no bounds but can there be a limit to the age of your partner?

REVIEW

These are indeed stories that people will love to read -some fiction and some truthful.
The Headmaster's Daughter dates back to the 1950's.
This story gives an excellent idea of how life was lived during those days.
The strict Headmaster was feared by everyone but love conquered all in the end.
Children obeyed their parents no matter what.
Education was the goal of many and Paul in spite of having to leave his love behind went ahead to further his studies.
That caused great admiration for him and when he returned to ask for Marie's hand in marriage, her father readily agreed.
Marie's dream had come true.
True love and further education were brought to her door.
This is indeed a remarkable story and should be read by everyone who believes love conquers all and there is always a whispering hope in the air.

Travel Dreams of Yesterday is an exciting, true story of two girls travelling abroad for the first time. This story gives details of all the fun and adventures they had and the many challenges faced and how they were overcome. Their beautiful memories stay with them always.
The author has even included a poem about this first travel abroad.

The Dirtiest of all Evils; tells the story of murder, a change from her other stories.
It is nail-biting and grips you with fear and anxiety.
Belief in God changed the entire plot.
Read why Mark was set free.

Age Difference was a beautiful love story which was well told.

Mad scientist haunting Steven as a ghost

ByKatie on November 21, 2016
5.0 out of 5.0 stars
Format: Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The mad scientist we know from the earlier books in the series returns as a ghost in this book.
It’s not clear if he wants to help Steven, the boy he had kidnapped and raised, or whether he wants to harm him even more than he already did. This book is again a science fiction book showing us what our world may look like in twenty years.
Despite the advancing technology, we may remain vulnerable during storms, we may still be afraid of ghosts as well as evil humans.
Most importantly, many of us will still believe in family values, which seem to be at the core of this book.
While some people can’t forgive Steven the creation of zombies who killed their relatives, Steven deems it impossible to forgive the man who kidnapped him and raised him as a mad scientist.
He was deprived of his real parents but reunited with his brother later, found a good wife and even a sister in law and a niece.
It’s impossible to predict how the story will unfold and who finds an absolution.
Writing about our possible future requires a lot of knowledge and creativity. Brenda Mohammed exhibits both in all her Zeeka books, but her fourth book is probably the best one.
I am already looking forward to her next book.

5.0 out of 5 starsA thrill ride

Extending from her Zeeka and the Zombies trilogy is Mohammed's most nostalgic offering, Zeeka's Ghost.
Zeeka is back but not at all how you expect.
Unresolved issues, regrets, and love are all splendidly woven together with the right mix of startling plot twists the author is masterful at. Fans of the series will not be disappointed and new fans will be caught up to speed in no time. Another thrilling read!

Zeeka dead and buried? Don't believe it.
By Kato's Revenge on October 9, 2016
Format: Kindle Edition
Zeeka's back. As if you could keep a good zombie down. But he's more than the mad scientist.zombie fascinated persona of the earlier books, and in this fourth installment, the ghost of a demon haunts our eponymous hero Steven into near madness.
The thought that he hadn't quite seen off Zeeka haunts him, until the ghost of the title becomes more than just pangs of regret in his mind.
The story centres more around Steven so returns to the original concept bore out in book one.
This rounding of the story arc is interesting and a good way to handle it.
The other characters are there too, but they play a secondary role in Zeeka's Ghost.
Probably the best of the Zeeka stories to date, author Brenda Mohammed is to be congratulated on another take of zombies and now ghosts!
I think anyone could read this as the horror elements are PG-13 / Cert 12 rated.
But more mature readers will pick up on regrets we have as we age and experience life.
A final word must go to the cover - it's excellent and captures the essence of the book brilliantly.

Although this book is the fourth book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.
It costs just 0.99 cents. Get it here

Five Star Review from a Reviewer

Great little collection that will make you think (especially if you are a travel fan like me!)
By Kato's Revenge on February 21, 2016
Format: Paperback
'The Moral of this story is: Never give up on your dreams. - Author Brenda Mohammed.

With a title like Stories People Love, this book already had a lot to live up to. As I read each of the four short stories in turn, the change from fiction to non-fiction made reading this collection all the more pleasurable.

As a bit of a travel fiend myself, the stand out story for me is Travel Dreams of Yesterday. The author writes this so well that you really feel you are journeying along with her.

Is it a spoiler to say each story is a heart warming one (a reference to one of the author's other works) ?

I don't think so. Each element of the collection's opener, A Headmaster's Daughter, twists and turns and demands that you keep reading.

The Dirtiest of All Evils is intriguing as a murder mystery and seems initially out of place. But reading the stories again, it feels a good fit.

This is a neat and extremely readable collection and shows an author who is able to write fiction and non-fiction elements seamlessly. It's not an easy combination and yet the author pulls it off admirably.
