I received many awards in the year 2019 and have decided to update my biography for my readers.
"Trinidadian Brenda Mohammed is a renowned, multi-genre, award-winning author, and poet who has written twenty-four books to date.
The former Bank Manager holds a Diploma in Banking from the Institute of Bankers in London.
Brenda also obtained a Diploma in Life Underwriting from the American College, USA and
qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table, the Premier Association for Financial Professionals, six times in a row.
Brenda's writing career sparked after her near-death experience with Cancer and her recovery.
She wrote the book, I AM CANCER FREE which became a best seller.
That gave her the encouragement to continue writing.
Some of her books won multiple awards as follows.
1. I am Cancer Free - Readers Favorite award in category Health and Fitness 2018 and McGrath's first-place winner in Non-fiction 2016.
2. In Revenge of Zeeka by Brenda Mohammed, the island of Gosh is under attack by an army of zombies under the command of a vengeful science genius. In the year 2016, the Zika virus broke out in Central and South America with life-threatening effects for pregnant women. Given a choice to save the mothers or the unborn babies, a decision was made to save the mothers. The tiny stillborns were securely and secretly buried. Only a few people knew of this. Unknown to everyone, however, a certain scientist managed to get hold of all 51 bodies, bring them back to life, and condition them to follow his command, creating himself a perfect army of zombies. Now, twenty years later, the evil scientist seeks revenge on those he holds responsible for the stillbirths. Only three of the current doctors at Central Hospital - Raynor, Mark, and George - witnessed the unfortunate events of 2016. The three have strong suspicions about who might be controlling the zombies. Meanwhile, Zeeka is lying in wait for the perfect time to unleash his army onto the island. Zeeka has big, evil plans and this is just the beginning. In a desperate search for answers, and with very little to go on, the doctors search for the elusive Master Zeeka. Will they save the islanders from Zeeka and his zombies, or will it be too late?
Revenge of Zeeka, by Brenda Mohammed, is a one of a kind novella trilogy that delivers an incredible story guaranteed to give readers an absolute sci-fi treat. I especially liked how Brenda used current events as the pivotal point from which to build this amazing sci-fi horror. This made the story even more relatable. More importantly, however, I admired how she owned her story and created this captivating version of events. She captured with amazing depth the setting, characters, plot, and emotions in such few words. If you are looking for a thrilling short read, this fast-paced, sci-fi action novella will give you the time of your life.

AUGUST WAS A VACATION MONTH FULL OF SURPRISES

In the month of August and early September, I spent a fantastic vacation abroad and just returned home.
I am jet-lagged after plane hopping and globe-trotting for the past 16 days.
We travelled with 5 different airlines. Jet Blue to New York, Delta to London, Swiss Airways to Geneva, a train to France, British Airways back to London, Virgin Atlantic to New York, and Jet Blue to Trinidad.
It was a terrific vacation.
While I was in France I kept in touch with what was taking place at home.
I was indeed surprised to learn that I received two more awards in my absence.

289 most popular writers/poets from 74 nations were chosen for the coveted honorary title ‘World Poetic Star’ and ‘Mentor of World Literature’ title by World Nations Writers Union.
Only the top-rated writers from any nation were chosen for this elated title.
The names have been updated in the official website of World Nations Writers Union.
I felt honoured to be one of the writers/poets from Trinidad and Tobago to be chosen for this honorary title, WORLD POETIC STAR.
I thank the high officials Kairat Duissenov Parman, Shiju H. PallithazhethCarlos Hugo Garrido Chalén, and Muhammad Shanazar.
I also congratulate all 289 writers/poets and the Mentors of World Literature.

On 31st August 2019 on the anniversary of Trinidad and Tobago's independence I received another award along with three other Trinidadians.
I want to thank the relevant authorities Maggie Vijay-Kumar, Shiju H. Pallithazheth, Linda Hoareau of LLSF for this honour on the 57th Anniversary of our beloved country Trinidad and Tobago.

GLAD TO BE BACK.

Thank you Destiny for your welcome greeting.
It’s strange how time is always fleeting.
Missed you all and I am glad to be back.
Thank you for managing this group and keeping it intact.

In New York, London, Switzerland, and France,
I was in a daze and walked around in a trance.
I had great company to hold my hand
Taking me places wherever they command.

Walton Mariner on River Thames London,
Walking along the trails in beautiful Switzerland,
Shopping in France was rather exciting
While climbing hilly roads in Lyon I felt as if I was hiking.

I survived it all and must say I had a ball
Although while travelling on the train I had a fall
Kind persons assisted me to my seat.
Maybe I was just faint from the heat.

I made sure I treated myself to a lot.
Designer sunglasses, handbag, and a Swiss watch.
Beautiful items of clothing I could not resist.
I am a shopaholic and bargains I can’t miss.

In France, I was sad to part with my Andre so dear.
He is enrolled in a prestigious University there.
It was a tearful parting but soon he will be here
In Trinidad to spread the Christmas cheer.

Have been flying for two days to get back home
“Boarding pass please madam,” is like a ring tone.
Is it in this compartment of my bag or is it in the other?
I am safely at home so why do I bother.
