A Coronation of Kings by Samuel Stokes was a page turner
SYNOPSIS
Tyranny. Desperation. Rebellion.
While Tristan may be the heir to the House of Listar, at heart he’s more a lad than a lord.
Mad with power, the ruthless and scheming Baron of Belnair will stop at nothing to gain the crown. In the dead of night, the Baron massacres Tristan’s family and burns their home to the ground. Desperate and alone, Tristan must fight for his life and his people.
With everything at stake, Tristan must unite the unlikeliest of allies to block the Baron's ascent. For the first time in his life, he must become the leader he was born to be.
The Baron’s armies grow as an ancient magic stirs in the mountains. If Tristan fails, the throne, his freedom, and the love of his life will be lost forever.

MY REVIEW - FIVE STARS
My 5 star Review.
‘A Coronation of Kings’ was well-written and held my interest throughout its 365 pages.
The remarkable story is about twin brothers of Marcus and Elaina Listar, who were separated at birth.
After the Wolf kills Marcus, Tristan goes through a great deal of trouble to secure his father’s amulet from his dead body.
The Listarii Mansion was burnt to the ground and the Wolf’s attackers thought that Tristan had died in the fire.
Planning to lay low and start a new life in a different city, an urchin mugs Tristan and steals the amulet.
Tristan follows the urchin into the sewer pits to retrieve the amulet and two guards accost him.
From there on his life takes a new turn.
He was made Leader of the Guild of Thieves, an underground group in Belnair.
Meanwhile in Tolanis, Syrion his twin brother learned that he has magical powers.
His mother revealed the details of his birth and her reasons for fleeing with him from Listarii faking her death.
The two brothers are united eventually and the ending is brilliant in this action-packed novel.
Author Samuel Stokes’ writing style will mesmerize you.
He is a young new writer who knows how to keep you turning page after page.
I enjoyed the book.
