MY REVIEW - FIVE STARS

My 5 star Review.

A Coronation of Kings’ was well-written and held my interest throughout its 365 pages.
The remarkable story is about twin brothers of Marcus and Elaina Listar, who were separated at birth.
After the Wolf kills Marcus, Tristan goes through a great deal of trouble to secure his father’s amulet from his dead body.
The Listarii Mansion was burnt to the ground and the Wolf’s attackers thought that Tristan had died in the fire.
Planning to lay low and start a new life in a different city, an urchin mugs Tristan and steals the amulet.
Tristan follows the urchin into the sewer pits to retrieve the amulet and two guards accost him.
From there on his life takes a new turn.
He was made Leader of the Guild of Thieves, an underground group in Belnair.
Meanwhile in Tolanis, Syrion his twin brother learned that he has magical powers.
His mother revealed the details of his birth and her reasons for fleeing with him from Listarii faking her death.
The two brothers are united eventually and the ending is brilliant in this action-packed novel.
Author Samuel Stokes’ writing style will mesmerize you.
He is a young new writer who knows how to keep you turning page after page.
I enjoyed the book.

Five Star Review for Seer of Souls by Susan Faw

Susan Faw leads us into a fantasy world in her book “Seer of Souls (The Spirit Shield Saga, Book One).”

Who was the Seer of Souls?

The truth of the birth of Cayden and Avery was kept a secret for seventeen years. A wizard who knew that secret was alive and imprisoned in the Queen’s castle.
The wicked queen wished to capture and execute them because of a well-known Primordial prophesy. Evil spirits hunted Cayden, but his magical powers helped him evade them.
Ziona and Sharisha who were Primordial beings were searching for Cayden and Avery to protect them.

Cayden volunteered to join the legion to save his father from abuse by a soldier. He had to undergo many hardships but that made him stronger in preparation for his role. Ziona was always at his side.

When he made his way to the castle, he was betrayed by one, who he thought was his friend. He was imprisoned, but was fortunate to meet the wizard, who helped him escape, and took him to the Well of Souls.

Cayden was shocked to hear the truth about his heritage, which was finally revealed by the wizard.
There are many twists and turns before the conclusion of this story.

Susan Faw is an excellent writer and I am sure that her next book will be just as good as this one was.

Broken Realms (The Chronicles of Mara Lantern, Book 1) Kindle Edition

Mara Lantern doesn’t believe in metaphysical powers and alternate realities. That's about to change.

After a jetliner plunges into the Columbia River near Portland, Oregon, everyone survives. So why do crash investigators have a hangar full of bodies, one for each passenger except Mara? Before the plane goes down, she glimpses a new reality, one with scales and snouts, fangs and gills. She sees a boy running down the aisle carrying a ball of blue light, chased by a girl who could be her clone. By trying to help, she unwittingly unleashes dozens of creatures on an unsuspecting world and sparks a series of events that threatens her life, her family and everything she believes. To save them, she has to embrace a power she cannot comprehend.

The story had a very interesting start. A plane crashed in the ocean yet all the passengers survived.
The book held my interest thereafter as I was curious to find out why such a miracle occurred.
The story was well written but it took too long to discover the truth.
I enjoyed the book.
