BREAK THE SILENCE AND SPEAK UP AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

BREAK THE SILENCE AND SPEAK UP AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

No one should have to endure the abuse of another human being.

We are all made equal in the eyes of God.

BREAK THE SILENCE VOLUME  ONE AND TWO  were written by almost 200 International poets of the How to Write for Success Literary Network
Together these poets have used their pens to raise their voices against Domestic Violence.
The first issue of this anthology was published in March 2020. From the feedback received, it brought relief to many victims of domestic violence.
With the onslaught of Covid 19 and the extended lockdowns, Domestic Violence started to rise again.
We believe that persons in abusive situations must speak out against this menace in our society, and as writers, we will support them.
Together we can break the Silence and give Domestic Violence a Voice.
.
The feature article in Volume One, by the former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Trinidad and Tobago, Right Reverend Joy Abdul – Mohan gives Biblical views.
It is the hope of the prolific poets that these books will save the lives of many who are undergoing such brutal attacks from so-called loved ones

" On behalf of the How to Write for Success Literary Network. I take this opportunity to thank the 91 international poets, who have contributed to this wonderful anthology of poems, ‘Break the Silence Volume 2.

Poems Against Domestic Violence are featured in this special publication, which is a follow-up to our first No 1 Bestseller, ‘Break the Silence,’ published in March 2020. This is a wonderful group of poets who consciously raise their voices against domestic violence. and who work for the cause in other public/help groups.

The defiant cries of the victims, battered self-respect, scars, and maligned tones add up to a ‘caged bird’ existence for a woman who desperately needs help. Here voices are heard!

The Cover Page Design and Artwork were done by Mary L. Schmidt, award-winning author, whose interview is featured in this book.

I thank Mary L. Schmidt for giving me the opportunity to interview her as an International Award-Winning Author in the HTWFS forum in the month of May 2021.

The stirring Foreword was written by Brenda Mohammed, and the detailed Introduction was done by Florabelle Lutchman, who also assisted in editing the publication.

Our Chief Editor & Publisher is none other than our dynamic Founder Brenda Mohammed, multiple award-winning and best-selling author of 37 books. I also thank all the hard-working members of the Administration at How to Write for Success Literary Network.

To Adeyemi Kehinde Oluwanishola, our Administrator/Designer/Artist, a very special thank you for the fabulous poster. Finally, I thank each of the 91 poets that participated in this ground-breaking anthology.
