Three Trinidadians have been appointed to Executive positions by La Camara Internacional de Escritores & Artistas Intercontinental, [The International Chamber of Writers & Artists] in CIESART - TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO.
CIESART - INTERCONTINENTAL is an international group of writers and artists based in France, Spain, and Italy to perform works for Peace and Humanity around the world.
BRENDA MOHAMMED, Author of 48 books and Founder of How to Write for Success Literary Network, has been appointed as President of the Trinidad and Tobago platform.
FLORABELLE LUTCHMAN, a former school principal, and Chief Administrator of How to Write for Success Literary Network has been appointed Vice-President.
ANGANIE RAMSAROOP, a teacher, and the Founder of Creations and Beyond Literary Forum has been appointed as Director-General.
CIESART - INTERCONTINENTAL is working to extend operations in all countries of the world. It is a non-profit entity, and is one of the networks of service to humanity, with the largest recorded global presence.
All appointees are heavily screened and it is notable that CIESART has chosen to set up an office in Trinidad and Tobago.

Leo Tolstoy once said that "Everybody wants to change the world but nobody wants to change himself."
We are always left asking ourselves: "How can we attain authentic peace?"
As we journey through life, we discover that peace is deep within us all. That it is just inside us all along but most of us just fail to recognize it. If we find peace within ourselves, we can be stalwarts of change in the world.

WATCH OUT FOR BREAK THE SILENCE: AN ANTHOLOGY OF POEMS AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - VOLUME 2

 



CONGRATULATIONS TO 91 PARTICIPATING POETS OF BREAK THE SILENCE VOLUME 2: AN ANTHOLOGY OF POEMS AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
In March 2020, together with 87 poets of the How to Write for Success Literary Network, we published BREAK THE SILENCE, Volume 1 and it attained the rank of Amazon Bestseller No 1.

More than a year has passed and with the rising cases of abuse seen daily, we have decided to publish a second volume. We believe that persons in abusive situations must speak out against this menace in our society, and as writers, we will support them.

I thank the ninety-one poets who contributed to this anthology.

The book is expected to be published before the end of June 2021.
