BEAUTY OF POETRY

BEAUTY OF POETRY

#Newrelease

BEAUTY OF POETRY –  60th Publication of Brenda Mohammed.

The Beauty of Poetry written by Author Brenda Mohammed is filled with poems of various genres separated by picturesque posters before every genre.

She has penned poems on love, nature, world icons, world monuments, peace, motivational poems, and Christian life.

As a cancer survivor, she has dedicated a section for persons fighting cancer, surviving cancer, or lost loved ones because of this dread disease.

The book is easy to read as readers can read his/her favourite genres in the order they prefer.

The famous English poet John Keats said, “An object of beauty gives us perennial joy. Beauty never fades and is not devalued.  A thing of beauty is a joy forever and it makes us forget the sorrows and sufferings of the world.”

Keats also conceptualized beauty as truth and truth as beauty. He said, “Beauty is truth, truth beauty that is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know. Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard are sweeter.”

Another famous English poet, William Wordsworth said, “Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words. Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks. Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquillity.”

All the above describes the beautiful poetry in the book, and what makes it special.

It will be a beautiful asset to your library.

The book is on Amazon in Kindle Version and Paperback.

Strength for Parents of Missing Children by Author Marie White

"Some of us have had our child abducted off the street. Others of us have had our child abducted by a family member. There are those who have had our child abducted by a governmental agency. Some have had a child run away. No two stories are exactly alike. But the pain and emotional roller coaster are the same."
The above quote is from 'Strength for Parents of Missing Children' by Marie White.
I have had the opportunity to read this book while assisting in the editing.
I never had a missing child.
However, this book has inspired me and I know that the contents will be a great inspiration to all Parents who have lost children.

Best Article in the Newspapers today.

The only article in the Trinidad Guardian Newspapers today that grabbed my attention, was an article by a Trinidadian student who came first in the world in her law exams. Her name is Victrina Cuffie.

Here are extracts of the article:

"Let's get it straight from the inception: Success comes in a world of reality, not fantasy! So let's be real.
We cannot talk motivation without rational - the Why factor. Rationale is the gasoline in the vehicle of motivation.
Why make the huge sacrifice to study for success?
The world has the richest rewards reserved for problem solvers; not problem creators or complainers
When you face a problem with the propensity of an optimist, to find a solution, you are an asset.
When you face a problem with the attitude of a pessimist, to fuss and complain, you become a manufacturer of compounded problems.
Nobody, yea, no employer wants the latter.
Your problem - solving skills are your goldmine.
Bill Gates became the world's richest man because he decided to solve 'computer - related problems.'
A carpenter solves building problems, a doctor solves medical problems, and a lawyer solves legal problems.
In the world of work skillful problem solvers have the greatest competitive advantage; the greatest scope, not just for incremental, but exponential upward mobility.
You are employed to solve problems.
Actually the essence of your Divine Destiny is problem -solving.
The destiny/purpose of Christ was problem solving.
He came to solve the redemption problem.
So don't be afraid of the word 'problem.' It actually gives you your richest value.
Your problem-solving skills may be your greatest asset.
Don't look at the problem in the opportunity, but the opportunity in the problem.
