I read these five books in the Revenge of Zeeka Series and I was indeed thrilled.
These stories are indeed mind-blowing and I would love to see them as a TV Series.
Set in the year 2036 these science-fiction reads are very unusual, and unlike any zombie stories, I have read.
They are filled with morals and life lessons and are great reading for the young generation of today.
I am a fan of the author and I am proud to have these books, which I bought from her home store in my library.

THE HIGHER POWER

The Book, I AM CANCER FREE, is a memoir about my near death experience with cancer.

I also wrote a few poems in the back pages, and THE HIGHER POWER is one of them.

I am sharing the poem and an analysis by one of my author friends.

 "The poem The Higher Power written by eminent poet Brenda Mohammed is an inspirational biopic piece of literature describes her struggle, grit, determination. Most importantly her faith for the supreme power which she describes as The Higher Power. Poetry as said by the famous Wordsworth “as the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings recollected in tranquility”.

Here the poet aptly describes her emotions and self- assimilation through her experiences .This gives the reader the notion of courage and paves the route to spirituality.

Later in life when cancer struck

I did not depend on sheer luck

I trusted in my Maker to heal me

Moreover, I am alive today as all can see

From the above lines the poet has expressed her profound faith on the Almighty. This indicates her strong personality . Through her soulful words her expressed her willpower to live. She shared her experience to the human kingdom with a hope that her words will spark light to those who had lost hope in their lives .Life is to live .Life is to accept the things and face those with bravery. An emotional ink. The poem moved me. I am thankful to our beautiful poet Brenda Mohammed for sharing this poem to our group."

THE HIGHER POWER

I know there is a higher power above,

He guides me and shows me much love.

The Creator's love is true

He will never disappoint you.

My thoughts and wishes line up in my head

I think of them each night I go to bed.

Like airplanes at airports lined up for flight

My wishes are granted at the Creator's delight.

*

I marvel at the things God has done for me.

At eight, I almost died from drowning in the sea.

My father saw my long hair floating in the water

He pulled me up before I drifted further.

*

At nine, an acute appendectomy almost took my life,

Again, God wanted me to survive.

He needed me to live to tell my story

To tell others of his mighty glory.

Later in life when cancer struck

I did not depend on sheer luck

I trusted in my Maker to heal me

Moreover, I am alive today as all can see.

I remembered the woman with the issue of blood,

Who touched Jesus' garment and obtained a flood,

Of healing power which cured her disease.

I knew that he would do the same for me.

I had no garment to touch, but I sang like a lark.

With fervent prayers, I touched his heart.

He directed my path to a doctor in Miami.

Through that doctor, he healed me.

YOUR TIME IS NOW is a book I wrote when I was in a deep state of meditation in 2014, It is available in Kindle and Paperback on Amazon. Today I wish to highlight a top international review. Reviewed in the United Kingdom 5.0 out of 5 stars "Live, breathe, share, laugh, and love. Your time really is now. The other stuff doesn't matter. Whilst Your Time is Now is a memoir with biblical undertones, I would like to split this review into two parts. The story is about seizing the day, much like how Robin William's teacher wanted his class to do in Dead Poet's Society. I think we are all guilty to some extent about not seizing the day or seizing the moment. Then we reflect on such things and wonder why we weren't just a little bit braver. What would have been the worst thing that could have happened as a result of our actions? Whilst one book cannot hope to provide a satisfactory answer to such a question, it satisfies many of the author's search for meaning in her life. I am splitting my review not out of disrespect to the author's beliefs, it's just that my views are a little different and so I should be clear about that from the outset. This is not the first memoir I have read by the author but it's probably the most interesting one - even though the others were extremely readable books in their own right. However, whilst there is some overlap, it still feels like a new read. I especially enjoyed the part where Canadian missionaries approached the author's parents, seeking to adopt her. Canada is cold, colder than the author's native Trinidad and Tobago, and it's clear she was happy not to be taken away. Her family is a large one and it is uplifting to read how much she loves her family. Later, elements talk about reaping what we sow. This is very true. As I have aged I think I have mellowed a lot - it's more likely I will say something nice and supportive rather than be snidey or cruel. There may be times to do that, but overall the message is 'look, life is short - be nice to each other'. I don't know what would have been made of me if I had been there to experience the sermon on the mount. We all have complexities to ourselves, but without them, we would not be who we are. One hopes that if I do face that final judgement, I won't be considered a bad person, even though I am not fully into the beliefs referenced in this book. It's refreshing that one of the author's Directors commented on her being 'a Real Christian'. In England, we are supposed to live in a Christian country, yet the display of crosses around our necks is considered controversial and possibly offensive. This is nonsensical to me. So long as no-one wishes to hurt me, I have no issue with them. Perhaps my favourite line in the entire book is 'A highly evolved person is free from worry and depression and radiates calmness'. So true - and if only we could all live like that, impressing positive thoughts on those we interact with and yes, profess to love (even via blood or relationship status) the world would be a better place. So forget the nonsense of a busy, noisy world. Most of the stuff we worry about is a waste of our time. We are better than that and should act accordingly. Read this book and feel uplifted."
