NEVER PUT OFF FOR TOMORROW THE BOOK YOU CAN READ TODAY

The following are excerpts of reviews by readers of the three books of romance stories written by Brenda Mohammed.
HEARTWARMING TALES
Stories of human trafficking, a woman torn between two lovers, deception, neglect, fake love, and even humour, will interest readers who are looking for answers in their own lives.
STORIES PEOPLE LOVE
An entertaining diverse read — each of the six stories touches the core of universal human experience. A particular favorite was Paul’s and Marie’s love story. Young love overcoming adversity is appealing in the warmth and hope it exudes
STORIES THAT INTRIGUE
Stories That Intrigue by Brenda Mohammed is the perfect book for anyone who loves to travel as the cities throughout are described in superb detail.
You really get a sense of the culture and atmosphere in each of the places they visit.
I also loved the fact that the characters were from different cultures.
The author has a wonderful talent for creating characters and dialogue that completely engage the reader.
The stories are filled with love, exciting action, human vulnerability, and tense dangerous situations.

HOW CAN ONE MAN USE SCIENCE FOR REVENGE

INTRODUCTION
ZEEKA CHRONICLES: REVENGE OF ZEEKA [SCIENCE FICTION]
A Police officer met and fell in love with the daughter of a renowned doctor at a Carnival event. She was a registered nurse at the same hospital in which her father worked. Her name was Margaret.
They dated a while and when he proposed marriage to her, she agreed to marry him. He bought her an engagement ring, but her father disapproved of their relationship. He wanted her to marry a doctor. Not wishing to displease her father, she broke off the relationship with the police officer.
The officer was extremely hurt, even to the point of great bitterness. He tried to win back her love but without his knowledge, she married another – a doctor who worked in the hospital with her, Dr. Carl Sharpe.
When he found out, she had jilted him, something inside of him tripped off. He was never again the same person that he was. He vowed to take revenge one day.
Seven years passed and Margaret bore two sons for her husband – Steven and Raynor. The officer always felt that her first son Steven was his child. He planned to kidnap him.
One fateful day Steven, who was just seven years old, was riding his bike home after visiting a friend who lived in a secluded part of the city. His bike broke down, and he was trying to fix it. A police jeep stopped, and the police officer asked if he could help. There was no one else in the vehicle.
Steven saw no harm in allowing a police officer to help since they are there to protect and serve. Or, so he thought. The police officer came out of the vehicle, looked at his bike, turned it over, and tried to repair it. He then said that he needed to go to a bicycle shop. He offered to drive Steven home. Steven accepted the lift and never saw his home again.
The man threatened the boy to kill his parents and brother if he ever tried to escape from him. He boasted about his police connections and Steven was fearful of him and did whatever he asked. The man could not legally adopt him and changed the boy’s name to Jason Stephens.
If you have not yet read the award-winning and best-selling novel ZEEKA CHRONICLES, a futuristic thriller and award-winning novel inspired by the scare of the zika virus, you will be unaware of what can take place in the minds of mad scientists who try to use a virus to control lives.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

I extend warm greetings to all fathers and their families on Father's Day, 20th June 2021.

I wrote a poem dedicated to my father and I wish to share it with you.

DEDICATED TO MY FATHER
A remarkable man, a national hero, an inspiration to peers.
A list of noble names for my deceased father still adheres.
To me, he was a loving father and faithful friend,
An exemplar to others who desired to follow his trend.
*
In his memoirs, you will discover his love and belief in truth.
High standards of etiquette and model writing skills since youth.
He lived a life that offered much to be emulated.
To noble parenting and family life, he was dedicated.
*
His zest "to follow knowledge like a singing star” inspired passion.
Trinidad Government sent him to the UK for higher studies in Education.
On a scholarship at the London University Institute of Education.
He graduated with a 580-page thesis and was given a promotion.
*
As District Inspector of Schools, his performance was outstanding.
Nothing for him in those primitive days was too demanding.
He attained a Doctorate in Education from a Florida University.
He was courageous and brave, not fearing adversity.
*
All his ten children excelled in various professions.
He was a father with an outstanding reputation.
I was the eighth child in that big loving family.
When I was in banking I compiled his memoirs faithfully.
*
A few years ago I published his Memoirs on Amazon.
It gained many five-star reviews and is in demand.
There are lessons to learn by reading this book.
It’s about the life of a man whom we should not overlook.

" On behalf of the How to Write for Success Literary Network. I take this opportunity to thank the 91 international poets, who have contributed to this wonderful anthology of poems, ‘Break the Silence Volume 2.

Poems Against Domestic Violence are featured in this special publication, which is a follow-up to our first No 1 Bestseller, ‘Break the Silence,’ published in March 2020. This is a wonderful group of poets who consciously raise their voices against domestic violence. and who work for the cause in other public/help groups.

The defiant cries of the victims, battered self-respect, scars, and maligned tones add up to a ‘caged bird’ existence for a woman who desperately needs help. Here voices are heard!

The Cover Page Design and Artwork were done by Mary L. Schmidt, award-winning author, whose interview is featured in this book.

I thank Mary L. Schmidt for giving me the opportunity to interview her as an International Award-Winning Author in the HTWFS forum in the month of May 2021.

The stirring Foreword was written by Brenda Mohammed, and the detailed Introduction was done by Florabelle Lutchman, who also assisted in editing the publication.

Our Chief Editor & Publisher is none other than our dynamic Founder Brenda Mohammed, multiple award-winning and best-selling author of 37 books. I also thank all the hard-working members of the Administration at How to Write for Success Literary Network.
