READERS' FAVORITE PRESS RELEASE FOR CHOSEN BY THE CREATOR
Author's new book receives a warm literary welcome.Readers' Favorite announces the review of the Christian - Non-Fiction book "Chosen By The Creator" by Brenda Mohammed, currently available at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B14G4FDB.Readers' Favorite is one of the largest book review and award contest sites on the Internet. They have earned the respect of renowned publishers like Random House, Simon & Schuster, and Harper Collins, and have received the "Best Websites for Authors" and "Honoring Excellence" awards from the Association of Independent Authors. They are also fully accredited by the BBB (A+ rating), which is a rarity among Book Review and Book Award Contest companies."Reviewed By Lois Henderson for Readers' FavoriteChosen by the Creator: Bible Stories by Brenda Mohammed is aimed at helping the reader trace the line of descendants as far back as to the beginning of mankind, with the story of Adam and Eve. Mohammed, who is a firm believer in the fact that “the Bible is God’s biography written by his chosen ones,” explains, with the help of quotations from the Bible, how the contents of each of its books relate to the whole. Mohammed ends Chosen by the Creator: Bible Stories with additional material that provides true value for the reader, including the importance of having our names written down in the Book of Life; the text of her favorite two Psalms, 23 and 121 (which is my favorite, too) and a conclusion, confirming her desire (which she has successfully fulfilled) to write a story of God’s chosen ones from each book in both the Old and the New Testament.I love the way, Brenda Mohammed, in her work Chosen by the Creator: Bible Stories, affirms her desire that the stories she retells in accessible and straightforward language will convince the reader of the genuineness and authenticity of their source in divine will. For any newcomer to the Bible, Mohammed’s clear and simple explanation of the primary focus of each book is illuminating. Her earnest and heartfelt urging that “all God wants from us is obedience” is a resounding call to us to listen to the word of God and to obey. In short, Chosen by the Creator: Bible Stories is a wonderful supplement to the Bible, although, as Mohammed clearly states, it is certainly no replacement for it."You can learn more about Brenda Mohammed and "Chosen By The Creator" at https://readersfavorite.com/book.../chosen-by-the-creator where you can read reviews and the author’s biography, as well as connect with the author directly or through their website and social media pages.Readers' Favorite LLCMedia RelationsLouisville, KY 40202800-RF-REVIEWsupport@readersfavorite.com

WHY I WROTE CHOSEN BY THE CREATOR
WHY I WROTE CHOSEN BY THE CREATOR
Many people have always found the Bible difficult to understand.
To some, it is a jig-saw puzzle, and to others, it’s a book of
mystery.
As a child, I attended Sunday School and intently listened to the Bible Stories taught by the Sunday School teacher.
My father was a headteacher, and we lived in the house provided for him by the Canadian Missionaries.
We were fortunate that the house, school, and church were in
the same compound.
Once, the church minister and members of the congregation enacted a play about the Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ.
It was called The Passion Play, and the actors
performed it in the church’s yard next to our home.
We could have seen and heard the entire play from our porch.
My eldest sister, Myrtle Cleghorn, acted as the Woman of Samaria, and one of the church members, who later studied for the Ministry and became a vibrant church minister, played the part of Jesus.
That play was so
powerful, it influenced my life completely.
I studied Bible Knowledge in High School and received a distinction in the subject in the final examinations.
The exam was on my
sixteenth birthday, and I prayed to God for a distinction on my birthday. God
answered my prayers.
However, I did not choose to study theology.
I wanted to work in a bank and started as a
bank clerk. I met my husband at the bank, and after marriage, we were blessed
with two wonderful children.
I moved up the ranks to senior managerial status, and so did my husband.
I loved banking, and later I moved into insurance.
My faith in God has always been strong, and I read the Bible regularly.
I believe He guided my
every step in life.
Sometimes I wonder if my parents had given me up to the Canadian couple who were missionaries, and who asked to adopt me when I was born if I would have become a missionary too.
I was the eighth child in the family, and Dr. and Mrs. Kemp, who were friends of the family, had no children.
Dr. Kemp was the church minister and he baptized me when I was a baby.
He and his wife asked my parents to adopt me, but they loved their daughter and refused.
I am very happy they did not give me away.
My parents had two more children after me.
They loved all of their children,
educated all, and each one held an important position in society.
At the age of seven, I almost drowned in the sea, and at nine I almost died of acute appendicitis.
My father saved my life on both occasions, and I believe God spoke to him to take early action.
I wrote about
these incidents in my early childhood, in one of my other publications, ‘My
Life as a Banker.’
In 2005, I was struck with cancer, and my doctor in Trinidad
gave up on me.
I went abroad to Miami to a doctor my daughter recommended for treatment, and I miraculously recovered.
During the seven months, I was undergoing chemotherapy and surgery, I read the Bible many times and prayed fervently.
I underlined many passages in the Bible until the pages began falling apart.
My husband and I bought many new Bibles afterward.
I remembered the woman in the Bible who touched Jesus’ garment and was healed instantly.
I could not physically touch Jesus’ garment, but I knew I touched his heart with my prayers.
Other family members and friends prayed for my recovery. God answers prayers.
I was healed completely after seven months.
My family and I visited The Holy Land Theme Park in Orlando a few years ago.
The Holy Land Theme Park is a living Biblical museum and park, that brings to life the world of the Bible.
We saw real-life scenes of the serpent in the Garden of Eden, Herod’s Temple, Jonah in the Whale’s belly, a Jerusalem Model City, a Judean village, Bethlehem’s Manger, Calvary’s Garden Tomb, the wells of Samaria, and many other biblical sites.
We were awestruck
by the amazing park where we felt pure and holy.
In 2013, I wrote a book about my cancer experience.
I AM
CANCER FREE became a bestseller, and later on, won an award in Readers Favorite
International Awards in the category, of Health, and Fitness.
That book was the start of my writing career.
To date, I
have published 48 books in many genres - memoirs, science fiction, romance,
self-help, mystery, children’s books, psychological thrillers, Christian books,
poetry, and poetry anthologies.
The first Christian book I wrote was YOUR TIME IS NOW.
It was more like a memoir and was well received by readers.
It obtained excellent
reviews and won a Recommended Reader’s award.
My 46th book was HE IS THE ONE: A BOOK FOR END TIMES.
I felt a driving force within me to write that book.
It became an Amazon No 1 Hot New Release
two days after I published it.
I was once more motivated by that same force to write and publish CHOSEN BY THE CREATOR: BIBLE STORIES.
It also became an Amazon No 1 Hot New Release after two days.
The book is available on AMAZON. CLICK HERE.

REVIEW BY SHANITA VICHARE OF MY LIFE AS A BANKER WRITTEN BY BRENDA MOHAMMED
REVIEW BY SHANITA VICHARE OF MY LIFE AS A BANKER WRITTEN BY
BRENDA
MOHAMMED
Reading through the pages of this scintillating book, MY
LIFE AS A BANKER, I have been very impressed by Brenda Mohammed's upbringing as
a young girl, born into a big family of ten., She never ever lost a moment to
learn from any given situation.
She has been a lifelong learner and a winner too.
Her life deeply reflects her 'Presbyterian Church's values
and she has taken to the free flow of life, under 'divine guidance.'
I sure recalled Oprah Winfrey's, YouTube Show "My
Success & Spiritual Journey, where she quotes her favourite Bible Acts
Proverb 16.3 "Lord, Thy God Is A Loving God" and deeply admires Acts
17-28. Proverb - " You are God's Child and Through God All Things are
Possible.".
Here I see beautiful synchronicity of life's experiences,
times, and circumstances that prevailed. In Brenda's book,.
She writes about her early days before her father rose to
the rank of 'Headmaster' of Presbyterian Church Schools.
They had no electricity in their house, lived in a
dreary-looking house, and an open yard.
I quote, "My sisters and I played many games under that
tree and feasted on the big juicy almonds it bore. There was a large orchard of
fruit trees at the back of the house. We enjoyed oranges, bananas, pomcytres,
and mangoes whenever they were in season."
Two married Canadian missionaries approached her parents to
adopt her.
The husband was the Church Minister and he had baptized her
at birth.
Brenda's parents did not grant their wish and they returned
to Canada after one year in Trinidad.
Brenda was loved by her parents.
Well growing up, in a small rustic village in the lap of
nature, sure gave Brenda a very juberious experience.
She developed a love for family pets.
Her fishing experiences with her brother are so scenic.
Her father took them to Manzanilla, one of the popular beach
resorts in Trinidad.
I think that was the beginning of her love for her native
island of Trinidad.
At a young age, Brenda's life was influenced by the Passion
Play, which the Church Youth Group performed under the supervision of the
church minister, Reverend Roy NeehalI (deceased).
She was a member of the school choir at St. Augustine Girls'
High School and would always remember Miss Lenore Mahase, the music teacher,
who trained her to sing.
Lenore Mahase played the piano beautifully too.
She conducted the choir with her hands and used her fingers
to show them how to form the words as they sang.
In the school dormitory, on occasions, the matron allowed
them to go to hockey matches when St Augustine Girls played against other
schools in Port of Spain.
One of the older girls in the higher form was put in charge
of them.
Brenda fondly remembers their school chanted this and
cheered the school crowds at the matches:
St Augustine High,
St Augustine High Yiketty Yackety aye, aye, aye!
Show 'em how to play girls, show 'em how to fight,
Yiketty Yackety aye, aye, aye.
Brenda learned most of her worldly gospels from the church,
her school life. and when she lived in the school hostel.
She and her husband met at the bank.
She had yearned to meet her life partner, just like any
other sensitive girl does.
Her father too had been really worried as she was most
deserving and had made strong individual choices in her life.
Maya Angelou's quote is so befitting here "Love
recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to
arrive at its destination full of hope."
Brenda Mohammed's turning point in her life as an
'Accountant'; came when she went on transfer from Couva Branch to the High
Street Bank, San Fernando Branch.
ln those days, Englishmen managed most of the branches of
Trinidad.
The Head Office of Barclays Bank D.C.O. in the United
Kingdom made all managerial appointments.
Barclays Bank owned the majority shareholding then.
She had to accomplish her new skill sets and came out with
flying colours, in her ' Computer Aptitude Test'.
These big steps lead her to master further as a Head in
'Foreign Trade'.
Turning through the pages of this awesome book, I definitely
felt that Brenda Mohammed's journey from a small-town girl and from honing her
job skills from doing ledger entries to head as Relief Manager and rise to the
Corporate Level as a Senior Manager has indeed been very remarkable.
In due course of her life, she did bear the personal loss of
her most loved ones, but she managed her hurdles in the best possible ways.
I think for her "Work Is Worship."
